Our e-fleet continues to grow!
Since environmental awareness runs like a red thread through the company, it is important to us that our employees are also climate-friendly on the road.

The e-fleet from H&S Kabeltechnik continues to grow!
It has been important to us since 2019 to offer our employees environmentally friendly and CO2-neutral mobility as a benefit.

Now, 4 years later, the conclusion: “The offer was very well received by the employees and the CO2 savings of around 30,000 kg per year are really impressive. The e-mobiles are charged free of charge during working hours with the company’s own 32 kW photovoltaic system and the employees can relax and drive home with a fully charged battery after work,” says Christian Hochegger.

Due to the positive feedback, 10 new VW ID.3 have now been purchased together with VW Strasser in Schärding.

As everyone knows, the cost of living has risen sharply in recent months. This is exactly where we support our employees in reducing travel costs and at the same time provide a strong impetus for more sustainability.

REGIONAL PARTNER

Regionality has always been important to us, so we found a reliable partner for the new project of the electric fleet in the nearby VW Strasser car dealership in Schärding. “Everything went like clockwork from the first meeting to the end. We received competent advice and all-round support during the transaction. Many thanks to VW Strasser for the very good cooperation.” so Markus Schroll.

Finally Electronica again.

Finally live again, on site and in person.
Finally Electronica in Munich again.

2,144 exhibitors showed the entire spectrum of electronics
High internationality among the approximately 70,000 visitors
New highs for exhibitor and visitor satisfaction

The electronics trade fair in Munich opened its doors again and we were there live!
Excellent atmosphere in 14 halls and intensive discussions at full booths: At the trade fair, the international electronics industry met again in person in Munich from November 15 to 18.
2,144 exhibitors, 64 percent of them from abroad, presented their innovations for the entire spectrum of electronics to around 70,000 visitors at the world’s leading trade fair.

We were pleased about every visitor to our booth, who talked with us over good coffee about trends and innovations in the industry. Numerous technical discussions were held, laying the foundation for successful future cooperation.

PROJECT 2019

At H&S Kabeltechnik, sustainability & environmental protection are always in focus,
because ultimately there is no plan(et) B.

We want to be a sustainable company and always make a contribution for the sake of the environment. In addition to a “green” working life, we always try to think ahead and bring about a step in the right direction with new projects.

Paper instead of plastic

Instead of PE bags we now use paper bags for our products. With this action, we can reduce to about 200,000 pieces of plastic bags per year. That is 1 million plastic bags in 5 years!

The sales team, led by Andreas Gumpoltsberger, has already been able to save around 40,500 plastic bags together with the help of our customers.

“We are glad that our business partners have supported us in such large numbers. Ultimately, the environmental issue affects us all and should be a group project. On the purchasing side, we were able to save around 36,700 plastic bags together with our suppliers,” proud Stefan Scheuringer, Purchasing Manager.

apprentice fair Schärding

On November 11 + 12, 2022 the Schärdinger Lehrlingsmesse took place.

We were there for the second time with full enthusiasm. The fair is very important for us, because here we come directly into conversation with the young people and their parents.

A choir from the Schärding Music Secondary School opened the apprenticeship fair with the title “Finally back” . An apt title, because with each visitor & exhibitor the joy was large that the fair could take place this year again in presence.

START OF CONSTRUCTION: SEPTEMBER 2020

Expansion of our Hungarian location Pemac

In September 2020 we started the extension of our Hungarian location “PeMaC” from 3.500m² to 6.800m². Almost in time for the 15th anniversary of H&S Kabeltechnik in September 2021 the extension was completed. The expansion in Hungary came just at the right time, because the massive extension of the location now enables us to meet the increased demands on logistics and warehousing.

The customer base currently covers the whole of Europe, with the German-speaking region still predominating. Currently, about 10 million meters of cable are processed annually in a wide variety of applications. Due to the technological position of our customers with the urge for automation, as well as their worldwide pioneering position, we can look to the future with confidence.

,,Due to a very high order intake, production is bursting at the seams. All the better that we can now complete this in a record 13-month construction period,” Markus Schroll is pleased to report.

“We now produce for the automotive industry with fully automated robot systems. Furthermore, we have fully automated small parts warehouses and a highly modern machine park,” Christian Hochegger proudly reports.
